Evolve Organic Beauty is  natural skin care line, using all natural ingredients that work as well as their synthetic counterparts. Created by skincare expert Laura Rudoe, this British brand has been gaining fans all over the world since 2009 thanks to gentle formulas, affordable prices and effective ingredients – and has been collecting Clean Beauty Awards ever since. The products are made in small batches using finest natural ingredients, and you will be pleased to know they are all natural, vegan and cruelty free. Eco friendly too. The line is on my radar and I was so pleased to learn it made it’s way to Dublin, Ireland too – find it in Arnotts, no less! Also available online, from Dutch Health Store, Evolve Beauty, Glow Organic Brighton Content Beauty & other places.

They recently released their Climate Veil Tinted SPF20 In Light – Medium* and have asked me if I’d like to try it – I was like YES PLEASE and thank you! Now that I’ve had it three weeks, I am ready to give my two cents on it – you guys know I like to take my time to test the product thoroughly before reviewing it. Let’s see the ingredients first?

INGREDIENTS:  Aqua (Water), Zinc Oxide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Coco-Caprylate, Cetyl Ricinoeate, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Glycerin*, Opuntia Ficus Indica Stem Extract*, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil, Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea Fruit Extract, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder*, Tocopherol, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Gluconolactone, Calcium Gluconate, Mica, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Levulinate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Stearyl Ester, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Parfum (Natural fragrance). *Ingredients from Organic farming

Now, the ingredients look good to me and I am happy to report that the product is very impressive performance wise too. I have only once teeny tiny criticism towards it, but let’s leave that to the end and dive into my thoughts about it first.

Description says:

FOR Normal-Dry Skin, shade: Light-Medium

Sun radiation is essential for life, but UV radiation is responsible for 80% of visible ageing signs that leads to photoageing.

Embracing skin care and sun care, Climate Veil Tinted SPF combines natural high tech anti-ageing ingredients such as polyphenol-rich Lingonberry stem cells and hyaluronic acid, with reef safe, non-nano mineral-based zinc oxide to deliver a lightweight broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays.

Beautifully tinted with mineral light reflecting natural pigments for a luminous dewy finish.

Dermatologically tested.

As you might know, I have a dry and very sensitive skin, with perioral dermatitis thrown in for a good measure (Yes, I know I am a lucky gal). I was a bit apprehensive it would be drying or break me out, but I am pleased to report it is neither. The consistency is creamy and light, it is a dream to apply and rub in. Sinks in quickly leaving no stickiness or residue and because it is tinted, it is very easy to see where you apply. The finish is dewy but not greasy, the skin looks luminous. Coverage is light but I don’t mind that. It is non drying at all, which pleases me to no end, as I find most of the face SPF products drying. It contains caprylic tryglicerides, which is coconut derivatives and sometimes break me out – but this product does not, there’s something magical about this formula. So, all in all, I must say I am very impressed with this product! Apart one detail – it is too dark for me. At the moment it comes in only one shade, light to medium, but I find it too dark for me, and I am not even your palest. Dear Evolve, if you are listening, please come out with more shades and you will have a loyal customer in me!
