Welcome back! And welcome if you are new here 💕💕💕
How are all of you, I hope you are well? Today I am coming at you with a short and sweet review of Gallinee haircare. About three weeks ago Love Lula asked me if I would like to try some of their stuff for a review and I was like “sure!”. I put them immediately to the test and now I am ready to share my thoughts with you.
Galinee is a French brand that is cruelty-free, vegan, and probiotic-infused — all words I like a lot, so I was super curious to try. Shall we get started?
Gallinee Prebiotic Scalp & Hair Serum*
This is a lightweight serum enriched with fermented rice water and our special pre and postbiotic complex, that is supposed to leave hair smooth and glossy. I’ve been reading about fermented rice water and how it is good for the hair, so I was very excited to try this first. The description says this is to be used in two ways, spritz onto hair and scalp before bed twice a week then rinse off in the morning for intensive care or apply after you’ve washed away your shampoo in the shower and rinse with cold water after 60 seconds for an optimal result. I have done that, as well as saturating my scalp with it 20 mins prior my shower and I have to say it works well at soothing my scalp. Not too sure how much it contributes to the glossy finish as I have always been using it together with other Gallinee products, but I can feel it working – you will feel some tingling as soon as you apply it.
INGREDIENTS: AQUA (WATER), POLYSORBATE 20, PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERIN, ALPHA-GLUCAN OLIGOSACCHARIDE, LACTIC ACID, INULIN, SACCHAROMYCES/RICE FERMENT FILTRATE, CYNARA SCOLYMUS (ARTICHOKE) LEAF EXTRACT, ARGININE, GLUCONOLACTONE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), HYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER, CAPRYLHYDROXAMIC ACID, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, SORBITAN ISOSTEARATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, SODIUM BENZOATE, LIMONENE.
Gallinee Prebiotic Soothing Cleansing Cream*
With rice ferments again, as well as some butters, this is an interesting cleansing cream – it is white and texture is more like thick yogurt, but it works well at cleansing the hair. I find I need to wash my hair more frequently with this, so if this is your thing, you might like this product. One thing I wish to point out is that the fragrance (parfum) lingers, so it is probably not for those of us really sensitive to smells. Or purists among us.
INGREDIENTS: AQUA (WATER), COCO-GLUCOSIDE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, CETYL ESTERS, INULIN, LACTIC ACID, ALPHA-GLUCAN OLIGOSACCHARIDE, GLYCERIN, TRICHILIA EMETICA SEED BUTTER, OLEIC/LINOLEIC/LINOLENIC POLYGLYCERIDES, SACCHAROMYCES/RICE FERMENT FILTRATE, GLYCERYL STEARATE, TOCOPHEROL, MYRISTYL ALCOHOL, ARGININE, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), LAURYL ALCOHOL, SCLEROTIUM GUM, GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, SODIUM BENZOATE, LIMONENE.
Gallinee Prebiotic Hair & Scalp Care Mask*
Just like the cleanser, this is white creamy thick-ish liquid that does what it say on the tin, I mean packaging. My family seems to love it too, I have barely any left! I find it works well at softening my hair, but again, fragrance.

My thoughts on the products – as per Love Lula wishes, I am reviewing the products in the same month I’d got them, but I have to be honest with you and say I still don’t know if I made my mind about them. I mean I like them enough as far as the products go, but I my nose is still kind of objecting to the parfum in it and can’t get used to it. It was nice to try the line and I will repurchase the products if my family asks for them, but I might go back to my beloved Rahua Voluminous Shampoo (review). There you go, I had to be honest with you. Whoever said the honesty sets me apart from other bloggers, thank you!
