Living Libations haul & review

Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back! And welcome if you are new here ???

Living Libations haul & review
Living Libations haul & review

So You might know my love for Living Libations has no end to it. The quality of the products and the raw ingredients are out of this world & would satisfy even the most purists out there. I am yet to meet the Living Libations product I don’t like! I highly recommend two books Nadine Artemis has written, The Renegade Beauty & The Holistic Dental Guide – both will blow your mind. I truly feel this brand should be more well know than it is! I’ve reviewed quite a few of their products already (linked at the end of this post) and this post is a collaboration between the brand and little moi. Shall we see what I got and what I think of the products? I thought you will never ask 🙂

* a little note before we start, this review is a first impressions review of the products I have just received, more in dept reviews of the products I have used & tested throughout will be listed towards the end, as well as my recommendations.

So You probably know that both @livinglibations and @dutchhealthstore have my heart ? #LivingLibations for making the most pure potent products, #DutchHealthStore for not only making them available in EU, but also for the most #impressivecustomerservice – 27 follow up emails after order postage went wrong, anyone? ?Today I am reviewing amazing #everybodylovesthesunshinewithzincbeachbalm (say that three times fast!). Not only is has the most amazing natural ingredients (ever heard of #naturalsunscreen with #frankincense #sandalwood #turmeric #calendula & #carrotseedoil) but I also discovered it is amazing at healing the dermatitis! Say what? All revealed here: . www.greenlifeindublin.com/2019/10/living-libations-everybody-loves-the-sunshine-with-zinc-beach-balm-review/

My love for Living Libations has started over a decade ago, way before I actually got my paws on the actual products. Let me rewind – when I woke up to the fact that the “beauty” products in stores are doing more harm than good, I hit the internet for research like a woman possessed. That was way before the time green beauty (and even internet!) was what it is now, way before the well known online shops like Love Lula or Detox Market existed (shock horror, I know!), so there was so little of the information on any natural products.

And phew! 3000+ words later, my latest #blogpost is live! This time it's my dental routine and products I use, holistic as I can be. Some of you might remember me buying #LivingLibations dental products in form of #happygumdrops #ozonatedhappygumgel and #frankincensetoothpaste a while back from @livinglibations.store and wanted to know my opinion on them, so there you go, you can do that right now ☺️ You can also read my thoughts on #toothpowder, those trendy #bamboo toothbrushes and #meswak. You can find link in the last slide, link tree in my bio and in the comments too. Thanks for reading and I will go on to have a well deserved cup of tea ? . What's the weather like where you live? Here in #Dublin we have miserable rainy ☔ day here third day in the row, after the couple of nice days we had last week, the European heatwave is well and truly over, I just hope to God the summer isn't over yet ? One of the things that popped up in my searches was Living Libations brand & I really admired all the products and the ingredients lists – they are more like a piece of beautiful green beauty poetry than ingredients lists, I defy you to read any of their products ingredients list and Not To Fall In Love with it! Nadine is a true visionary and committed to provide the most natural products & essential oils there is. Everything is as organic as possible, wildcrafted, raw as much as it is possible, reef safe, beyond fair trade, gluten free, GMO free, food grade, synthetic free and animal friendly – if that does not make your heart sing, I don’t know what will! Take Everybody Loves The Sunshine With Zinc Beach Balm for example – ever heard of sunscreen with Schizandra Berry Oil, Immortelle, Carrot Seed Oil, Rose Otto, Frankincense, Chamomile, Sandalwood? I am not even finished yet 🙂 Gentle enough for kids and so healing to the skin that it tackled my dermatitis patches with gusto when no other products could? Not kidding, not exaggerating – see review here. How can one not fall in love with the brand after experiences like this? Let’s take oral care products as another example – as soon as I ordered a few of them via Dutch Health Store (Living Libations Authorized EU retailer with the largest Libations selection), I thought to myself “oh my gosh, what have I done, I am so sensitive to the essential oils and so prone to reacting to everything, what if I just wasted over a hundred bucks?” Little did I know that those products like Ozonated Gum Gel, Happy Gums Drops and Frankincense Fresh Truth Toothpaste will end up as my favourite products to this day and work so well for me – this “No Cavities With These Natural Products” post will testify that. The products are so pure and therapeutic, that they even recommend ingesting them after you are done swishing/ applying. More info on Living Libations site – don’t forget to check out their blog section for vast information that will delight any of us.

New exciting goodies thanks to Wilma from @livinglibations.store ? Doing a happy dance right now! I have tried a sample of #spirulina shampoo from #LivingLibations I'd gotten with my last order and I LOVED it. Possibly one of best shampoos in the #greenbeauty! So chuffed to get a full size of it to play with – errr, I mean to test. The correct word is to test ☺️ Expect a review in a couple of weeks. Wilma also very generously included #frankincense dry shampoo, and I am really glad I will be able to join all those shake'n'go people – little confession time, I have never tried a dry shampoo apart from my own DIY before. And don't forget to check out my review of their dental products one post back if you haven't already. I just published my dental routine and products post ? Living Libations is a brand I have a lot of respect for, as they are truly natural and use only the top notch ingredients, so I am really excited today! Stopped short of kissing my mail man today ? Umm, that wouldn't go down well I figured ? : : : : : : #happymailday #livinglibationsproducts #staytuned #livinglibations.store #spirulinashampoo

I also recommend their Blue Spirulina Shampoo, because that is a true delight to use and the good hair days you get from it, will put a smile on anyone’s face. Ever heard of dry shampoo with probiotics? Now you did 🙂 Their Best Skin Ever oils are legendary and I am about to review it next month or so, so please stay tuned for that in the next few weeks. They also have some unique products I’ve never come across anywhere else – like Zippity Dew Dabs & Breast Massage Oil. I have bought the latter after reading in Nadine’s book that massage with this oil helps eliminate excess estrogen out of the body – say what?  My curiosity is well piqued, why we don’t hear about things like these anywhere? As you might know (or not) my mom had battled breast cancer caused by estrogen dominance, so any preventative measures I can take, I will! Let me know if You want me to review this separately?

Now, let’s see for the newest additions in my stash – the brand very kindly sent me a few products to try, which I will also review in the very near future, but for the time being I can give you my first impressions on the products? Please step forward SunDew Vitamin D Crème*, Night Nectar Beauty Balm* & Poetic Pits In Copal Musk*. Now, my first thoughts on the products – I am happy to report no initial reactions to any products, quite the opposite – and You guys know how sensitive and reactive my skin is! Vitamin D in a facial product intrigued me to no end, so I am very happy bunny testing this product. Will be back to let you my thoughts on it soon. Next, Night Nectar Balm – I *think* this is what made my skin look amazing in just two nights! I only got 15ml of this product, so my testing should be done pretty soon – I will report back. Last, but not least – Poetic Pits. Now, does that not sound intriguing? Prepare your mind to be blown – this in a deodorant, but not as you know it. It has zero of baking soda, arrowroot or even magnesium in it. Get this, this is a 100% essential oils blend to be used as a deodorant – how is that for you? I want to know your thoughts! Poetic Pits are 100% concentrated essential oils, so it is best to dodge damaged, inflamed, and allergic skin. The ingredients are selected from essential oils that are recognized as safe for the skin. As everyone has skin that responds uniquely, we advise users to patch test inside the elbow before using.
Keep out of reach of children. For use on extra-sensitive skin, dilute with jojoba oil or try Crème Underarm Charms. This smells great – if it fails me as a deodorant, I am wearing it as perfume! Did I mention it is coming with a semi precious stone in a roller instead of plastic?

Ingredients – I will be listing ingredients of the new products only, all the others I have mentioned above, will have their own ingredients listed in the related review posts 🙂

POETIC PITS COPAL MUSK ORGANIC INGREDIENTS:

Sandalwood Essential Oil (Santalum album) – Sandalwood is rich and creamy, offering a dreamy scent that harmonizes with your personal scent while balancing oil production. Drier pits and perfect moisture levels mean you are confident in your underarm charm. Our ethically harvested, heavenly scented sandalwood essence is distilled from the heartwood of the aromatic tree. It sizzles with magnificent moisture and botanical-biotic powers. This warm, rich, sensual oil is a staple in our Poetic Pits and in natural hair and skin care all over the world.

Copal Essential Oil (Daniellia olivera) – Captivating copal essential oil is steam distilled from the coniferous resin of this African tree. Thanks to its high levels of sesquiterpenes, copal is perfect for pits. In addition to skin care, copal oil is used in sacred ceremonies and meditation rituals. When used for consecration and purification, copal conjures a sense of peacefulness, acceptance, and appreciation.

Musk Mallow Essential Oil (Hibiscus abelmoschus) – Mesmerizing Musk Mallow rouses your pits with aromatic-amorous-amber, musky notes of pure plant poetry! Extracted from the pungent seeds of the tropical flower, this particular type of musk oil is the only botanical oil of its type that is neither synthetic, nor derived from animal sources. Within its seeds lays ancient Ayurvedic secrets of wellbeing for skin and soul. Its rich, sweet-earth aroma heralds its appealing arts, which are said to balance and rejuvenate the skin. Traditionally the seeds have been used to flavor coffee, perfume hair, and scent skin.

Frankincense Essential Oil (Boswellia carterii) – The quintessential essence for cultivating reverence is frankincense. Liquid pearls from the tree of life, frankincense is distilled from the resinous sap of the tree. Frankincense exudes fortitude, strengthening skin and spirit with the nourishment of the ages. This ancient oil has been used for millennia to clarify and calm sensitive skin. It also offers rich, complex, otherworldly aroma.

Honey Myrtle Essential Oil (Melaleuca uncinata) – Lively lemon notes are lassoed and tamed by soothing, warm notes of honey on the range. The lemon-fresh freedom of the breaking summer day might run away if it were not for the reassuring warmth of myrtle’s refreshing green fragrance. High-spirited honey myrtle is said to elevate emotions and firm skin, creating a supple surface on which to paint your poetic pits.

Marjoram Essential Oil (Origanum marjorana) – Sweetly herbaceous marjoram has been used to purify body, mind, and spirit since biblical times. Steam distilled to capture the botanical blessings of this fragrant herb, our marjoram’s warm and penetrating aroma is serene. It was revered by the ancient. Rose Hydrosol (Rosa damascena) – Resilient rose hydrosol prepares the pores to receive the hydration it adores. The best rose hydrosol comes from the primary distillation and never, ever has any additional water or alcohol added. As rose petals dance in a fountain of dew during distillation, micro-soluble components of the essential oil impart the hydrosol with the memory of roses along with releasing beneficial water-soluble constituents for sublime skincare.

Rose Otto (Rosa damascena) Essential Oil – Regal rose otto is a steam-distilled divination from the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria and has been an integral ingredient in skincare preparations for centuries. Poets, writers, and mystics have extolled the heart-warming effects of rose otto, which opens the heart to love. Beyond its angelic aroma and healing vibrations, rose otto is the most precious, sought-after, and medicinally majestic oil of any rose variety. Divine grace for beauty and face, radiant rose revives every filament of our being with its elegant essence. It takes sixty roses to make one drop of rose otto essential oil! The ‘otto’ in rose otto, refers to its steam distillation process. This is the only type of rose essence one wants to use in skincare. Soothing to the heart and smoothing to skin, rose otto is a key ally in dermal rejuvenation, inviting balance and beauty.

Sweet Thyme (Thymus officinalis linalool) Essential Oil – Sweet thyme is a rare, gentle variety of the thyme species that is lush in linalool making this sweet plant a serum supreme for skincare.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) Essential Oil – Treasured turmeric is a tonic of golden-goodness for skin. Through supercritical extraction, all of turmeric’s lipophilic (oil-loving) compounds are captured from the plant’s roots. This special extraction process captures much more of the aromatic volatile oils, lipids, and pigments than a typical powdered herb.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Essential Oil – A hero in our aromatherapy-arsenal as it packs an herbaceous punch! Warm and zingy, it energizes the skin and assists with enhancing the appearance of elasticity and firmness.

Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) – Vital vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble nutrient. This sunshine vitamin blesses Sundew with its lovely lubricating juices.
