Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back! And welcome if You are new here  💕💕💕

Pure Anada haul from Live In The Light
Pure Anada haul from Live In The Light

So I have had a little splash out at Live In The Light online store. last month. Do You guys know Live In The Light? If not, I am happy to introduce You, I reviewed it back in 2017 here and wrote a few posts since, like Pure Anada make up look or first impressions of AnnMarie Gianni mineral foundation. This UK web shop has brands and products that will satisfy even the most purists among us.The product range from make up to skincare to household products to vegan handbags to oracle cards & smudges. Totally right up my alley!  The brands they carry are  Way Out Wax, Vonbros, AnnMarie Gianni, Fat & The Moon, Carina Organics, Marley’s Monsters & Pure Anada, which I will be reviewing today.

Shall we get started? I thought You will never ask! Oh, did I mention that my code GREENLIFEINDUBLIN15 will save You 15% off? Black Friday who? 🙂 Or that they have sets of samples totally for only 1£? Yep, they have lots of them available here, no minimum purchase or anything.

SHEA HAND CREAM MANGO PEACH 100ML – £8.00

Hand cream is something we all need right now, with washing them a million times per day. As I use natural hand washes, I don’t experience dry hands too much, but I still need a hand cream for at least once or twice a day. This is great one, I am impressed.  Very natural, minimal list of ingredients, love the formula too. It is rich, but sinks in fast, leaving no greasy residue, only softness that lasts for hours. If I will ever do a favorite hand cream post, this is definitely going to be featured.

Ingredients: Water, *Shea Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, *Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, *Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, *Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetyl Alcohol, *Peach Flavour (natural food grade), Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate *Certified Organic Ingredients

FOAMING HAND SOAP (few scents available) 300ML – £5.50

Umm, a little confession to make, the reason I got this is because I can’t break my family up from addiction to pump soaps. In the past I pressed them to use zero waste options, but now that we are all squished into a small space for weeks on end, I gave them what they wanted as that meant less friction & arguments over nothing in the house.  Did I mention pure ingredients? And so minimal too? No palm oil in the list, a score! I have to say I love these too. Natural, yet performs like a conventional product. We have two, Gardenia & vanilla ones – both smell great and kids love the foamy action too. One of them is already gone, to be featured in this month’s empties. I saved the bottle to do a DIY foaming soap later on. But having said that both of these are going to be a repurchase too, as I haven’t been successful in soapy DIYs just yet 🙂

Ingredients: Aqua, *Potassium Oleate (Saponified Sunflower Oil), *Potassium Cocoate (Saponified Coconut Oil), Glycerin, Gardenia Tahitensis (Gardenia Flower) *Certified Organic Ingredients

PURE ANADA SHEA body BUTTER – GARDINIA 120ML – £9.95

This comes in a 120ml jar, so I feel it is going to last me a really long time. Love the texture, scent and how soft it makes my skin feel. Minimal ingredients, which I love, high performing product, what more can you want?

Ingredients: *Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, *Argania Spinsosa (Argan) Oil, Gardenia Tahitensis (Gardenia Flower) *Certified Organic Ingredients

COCOA BODY BUTTER – VANILLA BEAN 125ML – £8

This is a bit different from the other body butter I just mentioned as it comes in the squeezy type of bottle and has water in the ingredients. I also find it easy and pleasant to use, although this requires a bit of rubbing, it going on white at first. Again, beautiful minimal and natural ingredients, something I just love about Pure Anada – as with their make up, which I loooove (post), the body care I too find very natural and yet affordable. Will come back time and time again. I use this as a hand cream too, works great!

This I had wanted to try for forever, I think it will be lovely for upcoming summer. Again, the ingredients list is super short, looks good to me!

pure anada Combat Spray – Household Disinfectant / 16oz / 475ml –£7.95

Bought this because the description had “antiviral” in it, not going to lie. I actually had to fight my husband to NOT use the damn Dettol, which he did use in the first few weeks of pandemic, but thankfully this works so well I was able to wean him off it. For those of You who are unfamilliar with this product, here is the official blurb for it:

BALANCING SHAMPOO BAR & SOLID CONDITIONER (PATCHOULI & LEMONGRASS)

I saved the most surprising thing to last! The solid shampoos I have tried to date were all pretty much a fail, so I wasn’t overly excited when lovely Sue offered me one. Boy, did I have to eat my words on this one – it is great! PH balanced, lathers great, is so easy to work with, rinses clean, leaves no residue whatsoever & leaves my hair super soft, shiny, bouncy, healthy! I could go on, but I think you get the idea. 99% of other hair products leave me with itchy flaky scalp after just a few uses – not this one. I think it deserves a full separate review – I would go on as far as to add it to my Holy Grail products I really recommend! (here). Both of them retail for 9.95£ each, but they are totally worth their money in my opinion. The description says they last for 100 washes and I would agree to that. I am using the shampoo for a month now and I can see how slowly it is going, I still have loads of it left.  With the conditioner I am not ready to give my review on it yet, as I pretty much don’t use conditioners. It worked great a couple of times I used it, but I need more testing time to give my well rounded opinion on it. I will review them (or the shampoo alone) separately very soon.
