Love Lula Beauty Box February 2019
As you might know, Love Lula is not only awesome online shop, but they do their own monthly beauty box – which feels like Christmas or Birthday present each month, mind you! I don’t know about you, but I certainly am looking forward to getting it each month. I *might* be stalking postman like a hawk around the time I expect my package. What? He has my precious Love Lula goodies, it is allowed 🙂 They ship worldwide, and the price is 14.95£ monthly recurring for UK customers, and for us international gals there are two options of three months (52.50£) or a year (210£) including post and packaging. It is all well worth it in my opinion as your money will go far and beyond with this beauty box – let me tell you the boxes are most likely be 60£ or more in value! The lowest I have seen is 49£ I think – if that isn’t a great value for money, then I don’t know what is. You are guaranteed to get 2-3 full sized products in every box each month, but they often go far and beyond that – February’s beauty box contains 5 full size natural beauty products and it’s worth £60- see, told you it is amazing value! Even if you will get samples, they are most likely be deluxe or travel size, I think I have seen sachet samples twice in over a year.

Living Libations Dew Dab review
How are all of you, I hope you are well? Today I am coming at you with a short and sweet review of Living Libations Dew Dab, which I was sent for review by lovely Wilma from The Dutch Health Store – who has the largest Living Libations selection in Europe. If you want to see my review of that online shop. see here, and if you want to see what I think of Living Libations dental products, where I talk about Happy Gum Drops, Ozonated Happy Gum Gel & Frankincense Toothpaste, click here and here, where I review Living Libations Wintergreen + Clean Toothpaste & Revitin Toothpaste. If you want my two cents of their haircare, True Blue Spirulina shampoo & Flowers In Her Hair Dry Shampoo, see this posthere.
Anyways, let’s get back to the Dew Dab, shall we?
Let’s see what it actually is?
A Pure, Potent Essential Oil Elixir For Anointing On The Spot
Helps Soothe Tiny Lines, Little Bumps & Blemishes That Somehow Appear Overnight
DewDab Brings Balance To Troubled Skin & Banishes Couperose, Discolorations & Scars
Organic / Wildcrafted Ingredients, Paraben free, Sulfate free, any nasties free in fact! Cruelty-free too, as it is important to us.
Directions
Simply tilt the bottle to release one drop onto your fingertip and apply directly to the spot. A little dab will do! Dab directly, undiluted or as beautiful additive to any cream or serum.
Ingredients (organic)
Cape ChamomileEssential Oil(Eriocephalus punctulatus) – Captivating cape chamomile’s exudes a beautiful, fine fruity-floral fragrance that is one of my favorite aromas. Cape chamomile has a high content of rare, nourishing ester and azulene compounds that impart a teal blue hue to soothe all manner of skin imbalances. This rejuvenating essence regulates sebum and softens the appearance of scars, and spots.
Rose Otto Essential Oil (Rosa damascena) – Regal rose otto is a steam-distilled divination from the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria and has been an integral ingredient in skincare preparations for centuries. Poets, writers, and mystics have extolled the heart-warming effects of rose otto, which opens the heart to love. Beyond its angelic aroma and healing vibrations, rose otto is the most precious, sought-after, and medicinally majestic oil of any rose variety. Divine grace for beauty and face, radiant rose revives every filament of our being with its elegant essence. It takes sixty roses to make one drop of rose otto essential oil! The ‘otto’ in rose otto, refers to its steam distillation process. This is the only type of rose essence one wants to use in skincare. Soothing to the heart and smoothing to skin, rose otto is a key ally in dermal rejuvenation, inviting balance and beauty.
Cypress Essential Oil (Cypress sempervirens) – Strengthening cypress oil is a calming, fortifying tonic. Cypress is stellar for sluggish skin.
Frankincense Essential Oil (Boswellia carterii) – This is a holy, quintessential essence for cultivating the skin’s reverence. Liquid pearls from the tree of life, frankincense is distilled from the resinous sap of the tree. Anointed and inhaled in spiritual ceremonies for thousands of years, this fine, fragrant oil increases the skin’s resilience. Holding the wisdom of the ages, frankincense is formidable for soothing the appearance of scars, smoothing uneven skin, and minimizing the appearance of melasma. This oil is a terrific tonic that has been used for thousands of years to fortify skin.
Immortelle Essential Oil (Helichrysum italicum) – Everlasting immortelle is stellar and shines divine for all kinds of skincare. This fragrant-floral oil is wild-crafted on the island of Corsica where the flowers prosper with ocean breezes and sunshine. The flowers grow at an altitude of 4,000 feet on the rocky countryside cliffs. Immortelle aids in abating the appearance of scars, spots, melasma, redness and fine lines. This multifaceted gem of an oil is uplifting emotionally as well.
Lavender Essential Oil (Lavendula angustifolia) – Languid lavender is famed for its ability to soothe body and mind. This gentle-yet-powerful skin tonic makes it perfect for fading the appearance of scars, spots, melasma, and uneven skin tone. The lovely scent of lavender caresses the senses, letting nervous tension go and lessening mental restlessness. Lavender is a lullaby to the spirit and skin.
my thoughts and verdict
So, what do I think of this product? Well, I have only one thing to say – LOVE!! Anyone who has read any posts of mine about any Living Libations products, would know that the brand truly has my heart! And this is no exception – this is a true powerhouse of healing ingredients in one tiny bottle and I thoroughly enjoyed, err, I mean tested all of it – the right word would be tested. Camomile, rose and immortelle are all powerful natural healers, while lavender is soothing to the skin, the formula is perfected to the T. I also should add that this helps heal the skin and diminish the inflammation on the blemish area, this is not one of those products where you would apply and the zit magically disappears overnight. I felt it is important to distinguish the difference so everyone would be on the same page.
Do I have anything negative to say about this product? Nope. One tiny thing comes to mind, I wish this was in the roller packaging instead of the traditional essential oil bottle, but that’s about it. It is really not a negative per se, it is just my personal preference, so don’t hold it against Living Libations 🙂 The price point might seem high to some of you, especially if you are new to the green beauty world. I too thought that at first, but now that I know that Living Libations quality is second to none, I am happy to give them all of my money 🙂
And get amazing products in return, mind you!
Please keep your eyes peeled for reviews of Sea Buckthorn Best Skin Ever, Zest The Best & more – in the near future.
So there you have it, my post for today. Have you bought anything from Dutch Health Store? What was your experience and what product do you like the most from them? Tell me below, so I could add them to my wishlist 💕

2018 Best Natural & Organic Products
So it is that time of the year, wonderful time of the year, my favourite time of the year – Green Beauty Yearly Favourites time of the year. If Green Life In Dublin Green Beauty Awards existed, these would be it! So let’s get started, shall we? We all know I love to talk and to review good products, so majority of them will have reviews either on their own, or as part of Favourites posts – so be sure to hit that search box either here or in my previous blog with 400+ posts here. Just a reminder, my skin is dry, uber sensitive and dermatitis prone. Hair is thin, but lots of it, with a sensitive scalp to boot. Lucky girl, I know 🙂
(Full disclosure, some, but not all, of the links are affiliate links, and I thank You for using them - they are at no extra cost to you as a consumer. All products mentioned here are tested thoroughly by me, and truly my Holy Grail products - I would never recommend anything that isn't my true favourite. Some of the products date back for years and haven't left my Yearly Favourites for well, years! I also want to point out that Google collects data while you browse my blog, but I think we all know that at this point.
All amazing for different reasons, but I LOVE them equally. Mahalo has a review here, all others are still waiting their turn. After being a face oil fiend for years and years, I had to give them up due to developing dermatitis (which hates oils) but I still add them for winter, when my skin isn’t coping very well on it’s own in the harsh elements.
Please let me explain why I chose these balms that are both uber expensive – it is purely because I need all the healing help I can get with my dermatitis, which sometimes flares up for no apparent reason, and blue tansy, which is present in both products, seems to be the magic that heals my skin. It is my face after all! While Mahalo Rare Indigo is a firm fave for the last three years (just check my 2017 & 2016 Favourites posts), I wanted to change things up a bit this year and purchased Blue Cocoon, which seems to be equally impressive. Pricy as they are, both jars last a year, which makes me justify the price point for them. I see more blue balms popping here and there, so I intend to try more of them out.
W3LL People Bio Tint Multi Action Moisturiser SPF30
Kimberly Sayer is what I used for the last four years or so, but it might be overthrown by the next two, which are newer discoveries, but oh-so-impressive. I’ll talk about them soon. W3LL People, if you are reading this, come back to EU! I’ll campaign to make it happen if I’ll need to!
I hope this was in any way interesting and/or helpful to you, and if it leads to at least one person finding a good product, then my work is done. Please be on the lookout for the reviews of many of these products, and let me know your favourites as well, so I could check them out!

One of my last posts this year is the post I think all of you going to enjoy – mine and a few fellow green beauty blogger’s Christmas Wishlists! I did one last year (see here) so I am continuing it as a beautiful tradition 🙂
P.S. I will link to everyone’s Instagram pages, so please make sure to hop over there and give these wonderful ladies a follow! Sharing green beauty love all around, and it feels so good. Continue reading “Green Beauty Blogger’s Christmas Wishlist”
Today is the day I have to get over myself and bring out less than positive feedback on products and brands – even if it brings me out in rash! As a natural people pleaser I want to be nice to everyone around me, and I am always about support for fellow green beauty sisters! Green Beauty community is largely nice and supportive, and in my mind I would like everyone to get along well and be supportive of one another. But at the same time I know there are undercurrents in it, as any other industry. This post is not about throwing people under the bus or some people’s or brands kind of nasty behaviour behind the scenes – although I could tell a few stories.

Walden Natural Perfumes Review
Today I am coming at you with a review of some fabulous natural perfumes that are still into my Top Three Favourites, ever since they launched a little more than a year ago, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Walden Natural Perfumes are 100% natural and made from the finest absolutes, resins and essential oils in the world. They are named after Henry David Thoreau’s seminal novel Walden. Part meditation, part handbook for simple living in natural surroundings the book has inspired countless readers and Walden Perfumes is proud to follow in those footsteps. Offering a natural alternative to mass-produced fragrances made by industrial processes and shilled by celebrities, Walden Perfumes is proud to return to the glory days of real perfumery when fragrances were made by hand in small batches from natural ingredients of the finest quality. They are housed in simply stunning bottles, they are very simplistic, but elegant, there’s chunky square glass bottle with a wooden lid and a simplistic label. The fragrance feels very decadent and luxurious to me, exactly the way I like my perfumes to be. There’s five scents to choose from.
A Little Star-Dust: Ylang Ylang, Iris & Jasmine with Amyris & Tonka Bean
(Finalist for ‘Best Natural Beauty Product’, Natural & Organic Awards Europe 2017) A Different Drummer: Pepper, Cedarwood, Amber, Amyris & Sandalwood Castles in the Air: Citrus, Tropical Flowers and Lavender The Solid Earth: Petitgrain, Vetiver, Patchouli Oil & Amyris Two Eternities: Wild Roses, Jasmine, Iris, Bergamot & Sweet Orange Oil
A Different Drummer Walden natural perfume
I chose “A Different Drummer” one as it appealed the most to me, and I am pleased to say I got it right (sandalwood and amber – yes please!) – I can’t stop oohing and aahing over it ever since I got it! I fully intend to try samples of them all as the time goes by, “A Little Star Dust” is calling my name too, but I am sure “A Different Drummer” will be in my favourites forever. When first applied, it can be a little heady and strong, but soon sinks into your skin and transforms into a natural scent that smells classy and exotic at the same time, almost one of a kind! I like not smelling like everyone else, and that is exactly that type of a smell. Choosing fragrance is very personal to me, and that is why I am so picky about it, I reject 95% of the fragrances easily. That is why I am so chuffed with myself for getting it right from the very start with Walden. The scent can easily be worn by men or women, I noticed my hubby sneakily using it too. I simply adore this scent and I am simply under the spell and utterly in love with it! I look forward to wearing it – that is saying something, believe me. Well done, Walden Natural Perfumes, your products are simply exquisite! I am looking forward to wearing them for years to come. As you can see from the photos, I love it so much that I invested in a baby roll version of it, so I could carry it with me at all times!
The fragrances are available in a few different formats, 50ml bottles, 15ml purse sprays, 10ml oil based roll ons, cutest baby roll ons bottles that you can fit in any sized purse, and of course, sample sizes, so you can try before you buy. Don’t you love samples? All available via LoveLula.
