Hi Lovelies,

I hope life is treating You well. Budding nature shows signs of life and that brings me joy! I am going to turn to flower paparazzi soon, as I love photographing flowers. I also have seven new puppies, so I am very busy (and overwhelmed) behind the scenes. What else? Enjoying Nancy’s Birthwhistle new book Clean Magic, perfect in time for spring cleaning. I’ll update on the Project Pan too.
MUSINGS

Budding nature
As I already mentioned, photographing flowers and nature when out and about gives me lots of joy, so prepare to see lots of that in my socials soon. I am already witnessing budding blooms on cherry blossom, magnolias and apple blossom treas. Heaven to me.
On the same note, things to forage in March:
- Wild garlic
- Three way leek
- Gorse flowers
- Turkey tail mushrooms
- Morels
- Nettles
- Dandelions
- Magnolia blooms
- Cherry blossom blooms
SEVEN NEW ARRIVALS
I am super busy (and overwhelmed) behind the scenes, because we have a large litter of puppies in the house. It is a LOT of hard work with a few cute moment far in between. We had to build them a “tiny house” with enclosure in the corner of the kitchen, but I had to reshuffle the whole room to make space. Now they are a month old and very active, I had to give way to the whole kitchen. There’s puppy training pads everywhere, towels change and wash twice daily and endless feeds and clean ups. It is beyond tiring, so that’s why I have been quiet on social media lately.

clean magic
I adore the new book Clean Magic by Nancy Birthwhistle. I adore her too, a wealth of information on natural way of living, from DIYing our natural cleaning products (this is what the new book is all about) to keeping the house, using and reusing everything to baking all kinds of delicious treats. She has written many books, I have and enjoy quite a few of them, look for the reviews in my blog and IG. Anyways, back to the new book. This got me excited for spring cleaning & I am never excited about cleaning 🙂 I have used soda, vinegar, castile soap in various formulations for years now, but this book goes above and beyond what I used to concoct myself. You can find recipes for all kinds of surfaces from kitchen counters to outdoor furniture and everything in between. Not only she gives recipes for quite a few different formulas but she also troubleshoots through all kind of issues, like different variations for hard and soft water areas, to reminding people not to mix acidic and alkaline stuff together, because they will cancel each other out, fizz up, harden up and won’t work. She also went as far as to go to quite a few EU countries to supermarkets to see whether or not natural products are sold there. It’s all in the book and her IG feed, go and check both of them out. Natural cleaning is effective, safe and easy but it requires a bit of know how upfront – this book takes all the guesswork, walks You through all the steps and has the answers to all the questions You might possibly have.
mushrooms for skin care
Here is a good article about mushrooms benefits for skin care. I have been interested in this topic for some time now, so I found the article really interesting and I hope You will too. I have used one serum with tremella by AnnMarie Skincare in the past and I found it wonderful for skin evening out, firming, but also it made my skin too tight too, so I never blogged about it. The search continues 🙂 If You have recommendations, by all means, do let me know!

Things
What’s for the “things”? Because of the puppies I barely have time for skin care, even less time to browse online for all the things new and shiny, so here is my recap for February and March so far:
2 x Dr. Salts Epsom Salts shower gels with Lavender at 3.99 each.
1 x Natura Siberica eye paches 10.99 (does not suit me, will not repurchase)
1 x Song Of India Song Of the Moon natural oil perfume 3.77€
176.6€ a year so far. There are some positives after all 🙂
I am also trying to focus on project panning ALL the products I currently own.
I am open to collaborations, if You are a natural brand do get in touch. Just putting it out in the universe!
