Hello Lovelies,
Welcome back! And welcome if You are new here xo

Goodbye puppies
This was the reason for my radio silence for the last few months. My two rescue dogs turned me into accidental breeder and had 7 puppies. I kid You not! Those three months we were raising them were equal parts of joy and bloody hard work. They found good homes through the local dog charity. While we were grateful for their help, doing home checks and all that, were were so sad to find out that we can’t exchange numbers or even see the new owners due to GDPR law. All we ever wanted were a few follow up pictures and maybe a meet up in the dog park, was that too much to want? This is exactly why it still hurts too much, it was a goodbye forever. Feels like the heart ripped out seven times.
Goodbye Mila, Kabuki, Lulu, Nala, Toby, Max and Pickle! You will be forever in our hearts as sweet cherished memories. Hope You will have a great life in Your new homes.
Please excuse me while go have a good cry.
If You adopted one of our fur babies, please do get in touch, I beg of You.
goodbye family member
Not only that, but we lost inner circle family member around that same time too. I want to talk about it even less.
mindful beauty year progress
Myself and my accountability buddy Sandra are doing mindful beauty buying year. This month we decided to buy as little as possible or none at all. Truth to be told, that has the opposite effect on me, so I had to talk myself out of multiple online purchases. And the fortune I saved there, I spent at Living Libations. Balance? I doubt it.
living libations bio hacking tools
Well, Living Libations turned me into bio hacker. In short amount of time I got not only their Nose Glow, which is their red light therapy device for nose, throat and other body parts (see first impressions post below) but also their waveform therahertz device.
Nose Glow
Waveform Wand TERAHERTZ BIORESONANCE
which is newer and a bit mysterious to me. I mainly got to to restructure water, but there is so much more to it. Let me come back to You on this.
diys
Other than that, I am super into DIYing lately. Nothing brings me more pleasure than seeing what is trending in the clean beauty world and trying to figure out if I can diy it – for pennies. Actually, that is a bit of a lie. I am marching to the beat of my own drum, so I do not even know what is popular in the beauty world. I just see what product I would like to use right now and see if I can diy it. The simpler, the better. Here are some examples of the kitchen ingredients DIYs I do.

honey and other bee products
Apitherapy is getting a lot of my attention lately. I use honey for all my life (manuka honey masks are sooo good!) but I know very little about other products bees produce. So I decided to learn about royal jelly, propolis, bee venom and pollen. Here are some videos if You want to know more. Let me know some good books on the matter if You know any, I would love to hear Your recommendations!
I don’t know how about You, but I find it fascinating. With mainstream medicine moving towards more and more MRNA vaccine based treatments, I want to go back to nature. Without bees, there is no life, when they go, we go. Watching just those three videos You will start seeing bee products in the whole new way. It’s not just honey, people! Propolis is natural (but gentle) antibiotic, antiviral; royal jelly is natural hormone balancer and fertility treatment and there’s more to discover. I like the sound of honey and other bee products in my skin care too. In fact, the other day I mixed myself a simple scalp mask of equal parts of honey and castor oil and a squirt of propolis. My hair loved it! I also started spraying my mouth with propolis daily (or when I can remember, that’s it) and also incorporating it into my oral care. I also plan to get good quality royal jelly and bee pollen and mix that with manuka honey for immune boots come Autumn. I’ll add propolis too. Maybe some saffron and /or some black seed oil too. It should be the bomb! We will see.
If You want to help out the bees, please sign any petition opposing pesticides, seek out non profits like beesnotbilionaires.org, plant lots of flowers, especially local wild flowers and leave shallow dishes with water for then. Find local bee keepers and support them. Remember, if bees go, we go too. 80% of natural food will be gone. Do You ever think about that? Elites would achieve their goal for us to eat bugs and printed food. Let’s take action right now, while we can.
Things
Well, as I already mentioned, what I saved on beauty, I spent on biohacking devices this month. See above.
The only beauty things for this month are Weleda Calendula baby oil (less than 8eu) and Bloomtown Garden body scrub for 1eu. Talk about blast from the past! I miss Love Lula…
Literally two days before the month ends, I had a little slip up in TKMaxx. Got myself three products for 22eu. I think that is quite good for three products, especially if they will end up working out. TKMaxx is one of my worst kept secrets to where You can find natural products. I blogged not once but twice on what brands and products You can find there. Sounds amazing? Yes, but there are a few curveballs. First, truly natural products are sitting on the shelves next to greenwashing ones. Scanning apps like Yuca can help somewhat, but oftentimes TKMaxx stickers are covering barcodes. The same products rarely come back in stock, so it is a little bit of hit and miss situation. There have been times where I discovered truly natural beautiful products from Australia for example (Zatik hair oil, I am talking about You!) and when they run out, I discover that they not only cost 60/80/100eu but they are not available in EU , so I can face high prices + shipping costs + custom taxes or leave it.
So what did I buy? Herbal Formulas Hollywood Style Beef Tallow Hair Cream got my attention. Did now know the brand before, neither I knew the 100/100 Yuca score till I got home and peeled the label. It is 10.99 for a huge (glass) jar, which will last me ages. Really good ingredients too, organic beef tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic manuka honey, organic rosemary and vitamin E. Tallow on the hair sounds gross but it is the silkiest smooth cream that did tame the frizz from the first use. First impressions are good.
Second, Dr, Paw Paw Summer Breeze hair and body mist. Again, I didn’t know the brand does mists, I only ever see their balms and lip balms in the stores. There were a few variations on offer, but this one with caramel and musk got my attention. Love the smell, don’t know the lasting power or my final thoughts on it. Used once so far. Yuca score 41/100, which is not great, but far better than Kopari mists that I previously got from Space NK and was displeased to find 7/100 rating. Fingers crossed.
Third, Laura Geller foundation in Medium Golden. This shade turned out to be wonderfully off for me, far too dark and far too yellow in undertone. I will try to make it work by darkening my current foundations, which are far too light now that I got a bit of a tan. Don’t know the Yuca score, the bottle does not have a barcode. Miraculously this was only 4€. Not too much of a loss if it won’t work out.
So my totals for the month are 31€. Not bad at all.
