Fushi Welbeing review

I love finding a company that not only makes lovely natural products but are ethical and environmentally-conscious too. Please step forward Fushi Wellbeing – inspired by Ayurvedic old family recipes, but with a modern spin on it. 90% of products are vegan, with many of the products certified organic by the Soil Association and the EU organic certification, too. Impressed!

Review marked as AD because of some gifted products.

I love finding a company that not only makes lovely natural products but are ethical and environmentally-conscious too. And that’s definitely the case with Fushi.

Fushi [meaning “Eternal Life”] is a natural beauty brand started in  by Rannesh and Ria taking inspiration from the old Ayurvedic family recipes and giving a new spin on them. They are passionate about delivering pure, honest and carefully created products, some infused with herbs, some straight up oils – they do have some exotic sounding ones, which will please even the most purists among us. Ever heard of Yangu oil? What about Manketti seed oil? Yup, I thought it will get your interest piqued 🙂

They won the ethical organisation award and are avid followers of the 3 ‘R’ policy: “recycle, re use and reduce.” They specialize in all things healthy, from organic shampoos to organic superfood/ wellness powders & supplements. Fushi pride themselves on creating herbal remedies, and hair, body and bath care which are 100 per cent natural, ethical and suitable for vegetarians. In fact, over 90% of their products are vegan registered too. I was certainly impressed (if a little overwhelmed) when reading about their credentials; they are an accredited ethical retailer by the Ethical Company Organisation, with many of the products certified organic by the Soil Association and the EU organic certification, too. Impressed!

Impressed much? I am! Let’s see for the individual products?

ORGANIC TRIPLE INFUSED ROSE OIL

This is a product I truly enjoy using every day. It is almond oil, triple infused with organic rose petals, unrefined and fresh. Has that truly natural faint rose scent (your nose will attest the natural-ness of it). Now that the temperatures have truly dropped, this is coming in handy so many times per day – I use it on the face, neck, hands & even as a scalp treatment pre-shampoo. Love!

INGREDIENTS:

Almond Oil Kernels from Spain, Pakistan, pressed in Germany

Organic Rose Petals (Rosa Damascena) infused in Organic Almond Oil, Cold Pressed, Unrefined.

BERRY BLEND SUPERFOOD POWDER

I chose this for my super-picky-eater-won’t-eat-veg Ms Green Life In Dublin Princess Jn, as I worry about her nutrient intake & immune system. I mixed it with manuka honey, so she has no problems taking it, and that makes me very very happy. For us adults, this is easy to add to smoothies/ acai bowls/ porridge, etc. The ingredients are organic, so it is awesome! Will repurchase for sure.

INGREDIENTS:

Freeze dried Acai berry powder, Organic (Euterpe Oleracea).

Free from:
Gluten • Wheat • Lactose • Preservatives • Artificial Colouring • Yeast • Sugar • Animal testing •

BIODYNAMIC DEFENCE ASTRAGALUS & ECHINACEA TINCTURE

Another thing I chose to keep my own immune system in check, and so far, so good! Not the best tasting thing in the world, but I don’t mind, as long as I stay healthy. Mom’s can’t get sick, fact of life 🙂 Oh, did I mentioned affordable price points for this and all the other products?

INGREDIENTS:

Echinacea Angustifolia (Echinacea root), Astragalus Membranceus (Astragalus), Eleutherococcus Senticosus (Siberian Ginseng), Glycyrrhizza Glabra (Liquorice), Galium Aparine (Cleavers), Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha), Zingiber Officinalis (Ginger), Aqua, Alcohol

CBD OIL 5% 10ML WHOLE PLANT DERIVED

Ok, here is the thing about CBD – there’s a whole lotta of confusion around, all the brands are jumping on the bandwagon because of the trendiness of it. But I would advise you to do your research before you purchase any of them, there are lots of things to consider – starting from where and how raw material is grown (you don’t want pesticides or mold in your product) to how the product is made. From the research I’ve done, I have decided I want organic, full spectrum & cold pressed CBD oil, and I am happy to say this Fushi one is all of these things! I take it for anxiety, but I find it works for lots more than that, for all kinds of aches and pains applied topically – including menstrual cramps. Sorry for a bit of TMI, but I thought of putting it out there in hopes to help some fellow sisters. Love.

• Suitable for vegans and vegetarians
• ‘Full Spectrum’ CBD rich Hemp extract.
• MCT oil (from coconut) boosts absorption of cannabinoids
• Black cumin oil works in unison with Hemp & CBD
• UK grown, cold pressed Hemp seed oil, nitrogen packed

INGREDIENTS:

Cannabis Sativa (Hemp Seed) Oil+, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil+, Medium Chain Triglyceride (from Cocos Nucifera) Oil, Nigella Sativa (Black Cumin) Oil+, Organic CBD Leaf and Flower Extract (Full Spectrum, Max THC <0.2%) from Cannabis Sativa.

+ -Fushi oils, organic, virgin cold pressed & fresh from harvest

My final thoughts – how many times I used the word “love” in this review? That pretty much sums it up 🙂 I am happy to discover a well rounded clean brand that does a whole range of natural and organic products, and I want to delve more into it. (there are some products like Gotu Kola I purchased with my own moolah recently, I am not including them in this review because I am yet to try them, but I will be sure to include them in the posts sometime in the future)
