Goodbye summer hello Autumn
I had to take the summer off to process grief. Loved the glorious weather we had, so phasing into cold season gives me a bit of blues. On one hand, I am ready for indoor cosiness and log fireplace, but I wish it didn’t last that long. How do You feel about Autumn?
Cold season prep
Well, resisting and wallowing never helped matters, so I might as well get my gears ready. I am looking forward to taking stock of my natural health remedies, wellness stash and natural candles. Every year I refer back to my old post, adjust and go from there.

Natural Medicine Stash
The squirrel in me likes to be prepared for winter, aka Sickness Season well in advance. In the case sickness strikes fast and floors all of us in the family, I want to have all the natural medicine stash at my house, not at the shop or “one click away” online. If Convid and Beast From The East (remember that one?) taught me anything, is that the supply chain can be stopped/ disrupted anytime. I would rather have peace of mind and be prepared early. What do I stock You ask? The usual suspects of elderberry syrup, homeopathic remedies and extract of wild oregano. See more in this post below.

Nala
Our hearts skipped a beat when my husband found one of our puppies online. Nala was photographed by the_urbanhound on IG and there were tears of joy and endless looking at the photos. She is so big now, grew into really beautiful dog. Not what I expected though, when she was small, so looked more like Springer Spaniel, but now she looks more like Border Collie, her dad. Long, lean limbs and the nose is long too. When she was a puppy, she definitely looked more like Springer Spaniel.

If you adopted one of our puppies, please reach out, we would love to see them! We would love to hear how they are now. I give my right arm for five minutes with them. Saying goodbye to them felt like our hearts ripped out seven times. It was so hard knowing it was a goodbye forever, we weren’t given any details of the new families nor we got to see them.

Living libations Magic wand
Sometime ago, I got myself Living Libations Teraheartz Bioresonance Waveform Wand. I was brand new release at the time, so of course I had my ears popped up. It has a lot of science behind it and a lot of applications, but I can’t speak of it just yet.I mainly bought it to structure the water. The thing is, I put it in the hair tools drawer (You can also dry Your hair with it), shut it and forgot about it. Then life got busy and it flew out of my mind. I am going to take some time to reaquaint with it and then I will review it. Here is the link if You are interested in seeing it for Yourself.

Natural wellness & cosyness stash
Continuing from the previous theme, I need to think what would bring me joy once we are cooped inside soon. Wellness means different things to different people, but to me, it’s beeswax candles. Epsom salts baths, array of natural teas, shroomy hot chocolate or golden milk and a stash of various natural honeys. Bliss. Oh, and some books. Like forty of them. Speaking of books, here is my current reading stash.
Honey & Propolis & Royal Jelly
Speaking of honey, do You know any other bee products? I urge You to go look them up, bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis have so many health benefits for us. Second hand September
Every month is second hand month for me. I don’t dedicate a specific month to thrifting, but if that’s Your thing, You go girl. I have to say I went back to shopping in the charity shops only. Vinted let me down too many times, every time I asked for their support, it was never supported. Example, I bought jeans that seller claimed were size 12. When they arrived, they were size 16 or more, with the label cut off. The seller ghosted me, so I asked for Vinted support on the grounds that the goods were not as described. For a good measure, I laid out my own size 12 & 14 jeans on top and they were significantly smaller than the ones I’d just bought. Vinted not only didn’t see the issue, didn’t help me seek return label from the seller, but also refused to return my money back once I paid for the return to France (it wasn’t cheap!). On the day of return their system glitched and didn’t register return, so after a while my claim “expired”. Thanks God I kept the postage receipt! Since then Vinted introduced the button to press if You already sent Your package, but the customer service continues to be awful. So I made the decision not support it back.

Kopari silk body butter
Initially I was after different body butter, I wanted to try Propolia France body butter because of the honey in the ingredients. But. There’s a but. I was browsing on Asos & was short on something for free shipping, so Kopari happened instead. Look at the humongous size of it, I will never run out! The best part was, it was only 22€. Love finding a bargain.
NYR bath oil
NYR is currently in TKMaxx, which never happened before, so I had to have it. Love the brand, but I sort of lost access to it post Brexit. The products are pricy (for me) to begin with, so to pay postage and customs on top didn’t make sense, so I stopped buying it for a while. Really miss some of the products though, seeing this in the shop reminded me how much I loved the products. I need to go back to my old post & reminiscent and maybe, just maybe order something again? Oh, this was 16.99€.
Paw Paw matcha lip balm
This was only 3.99€ so I figured if I don’t like it, I won’t lose all that much. Paw Paw has a lot of good products, some less good, but at least it’s natural and affordable. The lady at the TKMaxx till they sell a lot of it, so I think people love it too. First impressions are good, it is nice and thick, stays on the lips well, but I find it very hard to get it out of the tube. You the have to squeeze very hard to get any product out of the tube. Make sure to squeeze at the very top, not middle of the tube, or it will burst & leak on You. Happened to my kid, so take my word for it, be mindful.
Evolve Beauty Kalahari Cleansing Oil
Evolve Beauty is my favorite brand in the whole entire world, so how could I leave this at only 8.99€? Did I really need it? Probably not, I have one that is still half full. But was I happy to get this as a back up? You bet I was.

I think I ought to talk about this brand more. Enchanted by the teas, I want more! Big fan of knowledge the brand owner possesses, the ethos of the brand and of course the formulations. You can tell the ingredients are of the best quality there can be. Well worth the price for me.
Oscillococinum
Homeopathic remedy for flu by Boiron. I swear by it, it is in my kit for nearly two decades, saves my family every winter. I never ever want to be without. I talk about it more in my Natural Medicine Cabinet post, find the link at the start of this post. I get mine from iHerb. While homeopathy is legal in Ireland, they don’t sell combined remedies, only individual ones. Never had much success with them, so I had to go out of my way getting Oscillococinum from my home country or begging friends to bring me some. So imagine my delight when iHerb started carrying the brand a few years ago!

Evolve Supershine hair mask
Oh, lovely Evolve Organic Beauty! Can this brand do no wrong? I am a super fan for life. Truly, if You follow me for any amount of time, You would know my love for this brand. Nearly all of their products ended up in Holy Grails categories, every year since I discovered them. This mask is no exception. Truly spectacular at making my hair soft, silky and shiny. My search for the perfect hair mask is over, this is is what I will be using for the rest of my life. And I am ok with it 🙂

Kopari silk body lotion
This came in SpaceNK post Christmas sale in a set. I was after Kopari lip balm and body mist, didn’t really care for this butter. Till I had to was my hands every five minutes because of the puppies. They were raw red and this healed them fast. Sadly this isn’t all that natural (Kopari rates low on Yuca) and it is very pricy on it’s own. I will only repurchase it if it comes on sale or as a freebie again.
Living Libations toothpaste in a glass jar
This got rock hard due to my own fault. Take it from me kids, natural products should be used in a timely manner, they have no harsh preservatives. I won’t be getting this particular one again, but I have two more Living Libations toothpastes at the minute.
Viva CBD rosehip oil
Love rosehip oil for two decades. Love CBD. So I had to try both of them together. Is it any better than other rosehip oils? Hard to tell, as I didn’t see vast difference. But I will repurchase it some time soon, as my skin loved it. It also sank in fast, leaving no oily residue like some other oils.
Nini Organics Detox facial oil
Loved what I have tried from the brand so far. Loved the texture and the feel of this on the skin, as well as the ingredients list. But it was too detoxifying for my skin, it would get irritated fast if I used it a few days in the row. So I had to strip it back to using it once a week. Do I want to repurchase a product to use it once a week? No, not really, but I am open to getting it again some time in the future.
Evolve Organic Beauty Aromatherapy Pulse Roll Ons
As You can tell, I loooove Evolve Beauty. So when they launched their aromatherapy collection, I immediately bought Wild Divine collection. I was enchanted. Imediatly wanted to know more. Come first oportunity, I bought a set of their roll ons in all four scent profiles. That was back in late November/ early Deember last year. Fast forward to September, I was a bit sad to find out the rollers lost their scent. I didn’t connect with two scents, so I sort of forgot them, but I actively used the other two. A while ago I decided to clean up my stash, collected them again and of course
NATURAL BUT BAD, NEVER AGAIN
No Name brand lip balm
Local farmers market buy, this was BAD! Harder than shea butter, impossible to spread on the lips, it did nothing but made my lips stick together. My daughter compared it to soap residue on the lips, that’s what it looked like. At first, I thought of emptying the cute tin for reusing, but at the end I decided not to bother, knowing how hard the “balm” actually is, it would be more hassle than it’s worth it. It’s sad when any product goes to the bin, but in this case it was necessary.
Pacifica Coconut charcoal scrub
This was another find at TKMaxx that I was happy to find. Until I actually tried it. It’s gloopy fluorescent silver-with-purple-tinge looking things that had far too little scrubby bits. Very frustrating to use as it did nothing. I tried to fix it by adding fine Himalayan salt to it, it barely made a difference. Never again.
